Tuesday, November 27, 2007 - Meeting at Minisceongo Yacht Club DATE: Tuesday, November 27, 2007 PLACE: Minisceongo Yacht Club (see below for directions) PHONE: 914-739-3011 TOPIC - Membership to vote on the nominated slate of 2008 officers GUEST SPEAKER - Alex Matthiessen of Riverkeeper DIRECTIONS: From the North - Starting at the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle, Travel approximately 8 miles south on Route 9 W to Main Street [Look for a Shell Station on your right]. Make a left turn onto Main Street. Proceed approx. 1 mile down Main Street, cross over 2 small bridges [You will now be on River Road]. About ¼ Mile ahead look for a sign for on your right for The U.S. GYPSUM COMPANY. The Minisceongo Yacht Club is directly across the road on your left. From the South - Take the New York State Thruway to exit 13 N [North on Palisades Interstate Parkway]. Travel north on the PIP to exit 15 [Gate Hill Road]. Bear left to stop sign, Turn left and follow Route 210 [ Rockland County 106 ] for about 2.5 miles until it ends at Route 9 W. CAUTION [ The Speed limit on Route 210 drops from 55 mph to 40 mph about half way to Route 9 W. Obey the speed limits ]. Route 210 ends at the intersection of Route 9 W. Left onto Route 9 W. You will proceed north about ¼ mile turning right onto Main Street [Look for a Shell Station on your left Proceed approx. 1 mile down Main Street, cross over 2 small bridges [You will now be on River Road]. About ¼ Mile ahead look for a sign for on your right for The U.S. GYPSUM COMPANY. The Minisceongo Yacht Club is directly across the road on your left.
